Suns do NOT get the Hawks’ pick

But the Suns are ok…I just feel bad for the Celtics…I think the Celtics’ curse hurt the Suns.  If they would have been able to get one of the top 3 picks, they would have pushed the Hawks back to #4 or lower… I think this means the Suns will definitely trade Shawn Marion or Amare Stoudemire. And my guess is that it will be Shawn Marion instead of Amare. The Hawks ended up with the #3 pick which is about the worst that could have happened to the Suns. Not only that, the two teams that get the top two players are on the West Coast. So the road to the championship doesn’t get any easier for the Suns over the next several years.
