Suns Get Lakers in 1st Round

So the Suns get the Lakers - again - in the first round.  I’m torn about this.  I am not nearly as nervous about the Lakers this year as I was last year.  But that makes me nervous (see I told you I was torn)!

The Lakers seem like they are a bit less cohesive this year.  The Suns, on the other hand, have Amare and Kurt back.  I don’t think there will be any Kwame Brown standing over Boris Diaw like there was last year.  This year, the Suns aren’t perceived as soft as they were last year.

The first game is Sunday at 1:00 Pacific / 4:00 Eastern.  This is going to be an awesome game.  We have all been waiting for this for quite awhile.  I imagine we’ll see the Suns of earlier in the season when they actually had something to play for.  Steve, Amare, Shawn, Raja, Boris, Kurt and Leandro don’t have anything to hold back now.

The first one to 16 wins is the champion!  GO SUNS!!!
